I'm sick of hearing people say Runescape is better than World of Warcraft. I never played RS alot, and don't play WoW much either, but there should be no argument!

The only MMORPG I have ever played was MapleStory. There are much better genres.

Not true, Everquest and Everquest 2 are far worse.

Currently doing a neat little beta, it's nothing special for now, but it could be.

Well FFXI is my favorite MMORPG of all time, but out of those options I'll go with WoW.

You to? That was my constant complaint about WoW when I was playing. People think their little quests provide a compelling story.

My insistence of plot baffles some of my friends, who think I've gone off the deep end, but I'm off the cutting edge of gaming. I didn't even renew my subscription to Game Informer at the beginning of 2006, it's odd. I just keep playing the same old games I've always played, although in decreasing quantities. I think my gaming apocalypse is on the horizon, and I fear it greatly.

(I'm partially limited by hardware limitations and lack of cash for a serious upgrade either in the PC or console realm)

I enjoy WoW, mostly because of the humor I've encountered in it, but I've never tried Runescape. I haven't got the time for two such games in my life, and my lover plays WoW, so that pretty much gives Runescape no chance.

I was in the CoV beta and I was horribly disappointed with both the game content and the quality. I ended up quitting CoH before CoV was even released, because I felt like CoH had been going down hill and CoV was really lame. I hope that things have gotten better, because I really really loved CoH when I first played it (I was in the beta for that as well).

WoW or RS? Both are total shit. Guild Wars is far superior.

Look, if you dont like either, dont vote. The third option is for those who dont play ANY online games, not those who just don't like either of the other two. I made this because RS players actually argue that it is better than WoW, not to find out the world's most popular MMORPG.

Well, I don't know WoW, but I've played RS a lot, and it's really stupid, but it's coll if you want to play a game without paying anything.

WoW player here, and for those who say that the little quests you do aren't plot, well, you're right. The plots to follow in WoW, and there's essentially one big one per race, span your entire leveling experience. For example, the Dwarves are uncovering their history while dealing with the threat from the Dark Iron clan, which culminates eventually into an attack on their fortress inside Blackrock Mountain.
