I did this thread a while ago, but it died, for reasons I shall allude to. I think it was and is a good idea, so I will do it again.
I will name a band, and the next poster should name the ten best songs by that band, in their opinion. Then they will name a band, and the next poster will name the ten best songs by that band, and so on and so forth.

If somebody comments on someone's picks instead of naming the ten best songs by the band they name, that's fine, too.
The goal here might be (or might not be) to name some fairly obscure bands, but none so obscure that the only way anyone else will know them is to google them.

The first band shall be (once again) Weezer. Begin.

do you think ten's maybe a bit taxing?
i can think of so many bands who i enjoy, over whom i'd get brain-freeze if i tried to spontaneously list a top ten
how about three, or five instead?
and sorry, but i don't know weezer well enough to actually name ten songs let alone prioritise them
though i could google, and just pick ten at random...

i get that the intent is for a fan to pick up the thread and give a starting point to potential fans for what to look for, what's most likely to be appealing because i can think of so many bands i love who, if you heard that particular track and it was all you knew of them, you'd likely never touch them again
and miss out on so much
