I like Genshiken, Negima, Gundam(any series), Inuyasha,Fullmetal Alchemist, and Rourouni Kenshin
On a linguistic point, manga is both the singular and the plural.
My personal favourite would be Mars or Kare Kano.
I'm an 18 year old guy. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I draw my own manga and some doujinshi. The manga isn't that great, my friends really seem to like it though. They say i should write(technecally draw) more. Most Doujinshi i draw is gundam and stuff like Shuffle! or Kimi Ga Nozomu eien. I also have drawn some hentai doujinshi

Oh really. Can you show as an example of some of your doujin? (I wouldn't post the hentai kind unless you want to be banned.)

Not really manga, but "Preacher" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preacher_%28comics%29) was a damn good comicbook/graphic novel.

There are three manga that I can recomend to anyone that like to read them:
Monster - Suspense/horror police manga. (Finished)
20th Century Boys - Suspense/horror sci-fi drama. (unFinished)
These two above are made by the same guy. They are very high quality, both storywise and its art. But they are for mature people, since it has a lot of mature content.
And if you like action, you have to get the best action manga there is, which is called Gantz.
Also, get Berserk. Great manga.

Is that the novel? Nah; I've read "The Unfettered Mind" by Takuan Soho as far as related things go, but not "The Book of Five Rings" or anything else.

Yeah, the novel. It's terrific. The comic follows pretty closely. I read the Book of Five Rings or most of it. Also terrific but not exactly something I'd suggest for others to read.

Mmm same with The Unfettered Mind. Very dense Zen teachings.

Musashi, the one by Eiji Yoshikawa (or something)? Two very large volumes?
Yes, I´ve readed it twice. Its awesome. Its the kind of book you learn something everytime you read it. And the story is so huge, with a lot of characters and that spam a lot of years.
One of the best character developments I´ve seen in any book.
