Arinola - I don't personally mind, but I think people are going to get pissy about the Iraq pics - I got temporarily banned for something very similar.
And I preferred the scenery of Iran. It's very nice indeed, and the rest of the land is also OK, compared to the US, which has, in some areas, some absolutely horrendous pollution problems.
I might get some of the UK, we've some nice sights here, too, like the Lake District and the Fens.

I now drive by one of the best views of the San Francisco skyline there is just to get anywhere, though the time it looked the coolest was early early in the morning when a cruise ship was coming in and all you could see was lights from the city and lights from the cruise ship and so it looked like a giant chunk of the city was shifting. If I wasn't already late I would have stopped and watched that longer.

Anyway, I´ve been to Chile, and they have some awesome sights. Man, I loved that place.
If I´m lucky, in the future I want to go to Norway and other northern european countries. They have some great places there, and the boreal lights must be awesome. Also, one place I have to go is New Zealand (the place they made Lord of the Rings).
The place has the biggest number of landscape diversity by square km. You can go to a desert and up an ice mountain in the same day.

It's only a 5 hour drive or so depending on traffic, so I won't be getting a hotel. Also, I'm already paying $130 for my visa, so I'd rather not waste any more money than is necessary on that trip. Being a student, I don't have all that much money to waste.

you need my magic chicago parking ability. somehow i always wind up with a damn fine space just a block or two from where i want to be. or you could drive out to a place where you can park and jump on the el. the red line has a stop pretty close to where you need to get.

I've been there, but it didn't seem nearly as nice, maybe it was the way they captured it.
You can make any city seem reasonably nice if you try hard enough.
Detroit

do you just call me that for no reason?
Even the urbanized areas have some beauty to them just as much as the natural scenery. :)

Actually, I find the pollution to generate a nice pink cloud over london mostly, and since when was london Englands only city?
Just so you know it was Yootopia that first mentioned the pollution in America so I figured what the hell let me remind him that the UK also has their share of problems with pollution too as does a lot of this world including China who has many cities filled with pollution.
My post was simply a reminder, since he brought it up.

considering the fact that I have never attempted to do so nor have I been told how to do it nor have I investigated on how to to do so, I am inclined to say Yes.

KingBoud: Type www.picture.com only without the spaces after "img".
'Picture.com', of course, you replace with whatever website address (URL) has the picture. I love how when someone makes a thread about how pretty America is, the first few responses are things like 'no, prick, America be uglyzor' or 'Iraq is bad so America must suck'.... not a comment about any one of you specifically (well, it is, but it isn't directed at you maliciously, does that make any sense?) in any case, I find it amusing.
Mope, don't call people stupid or idiots. It's flaming and you'll get yelled at. Minor flaming, obviously, but flaming still.
Poor Nevada's being left out. Here, I fix and make better:
