He will get there sooner or later, there can be no doubt about it.
I just looked, and it's already on there. Has been for thirteen hours, now.

Saddam hasn't actually been hung; he's probably looking forward to leading a nice, quiet life on a beautiful, tropical island. The Americans wouldn't be so stupid as to kill him; doing so would discourage cooperation with other dictators.

Well, somebody got hung - and it wasn't James Brown, dude. Oh, and yes - please do remove that fucking perverse link, Marklacovia.
No joke -- I count sixty separate copies of the video on YouTube alone. Sixty!

It's all a scam. He's still alive. Most likely in somebody's cellar eating cheese puffs.

No. He was hung, I have no doubt about it, even without watching those sick execution clips. He is with Allah now, enjoying the grand afterlife befitting a true martyr.

A martyr? He committed vile, atrocious acts against his fellow countrymen for the sole purpose of appeasing the US and affording it a pretext to invade his country. He valued his own personal comfort over the lives of hundreds of thousands of human beings. He is a disgusting, abhorrent man who avarice tops even that of Bush. Anyway, the US would hardly kill someone who gave them so much aid and obeyed all their dictates. Saddam was acting under the instructions of the US ever since he came into power; the US will reward him handsomely for his services, and death is not really a coveted prize. As I previously stated, he will probably be transported to a beautiful island to live out the remainder of his life.

any how I don't realy see the need to watch some, very evil, guy get hung. I think the fact that the video was going to endup on the internet was ineviable(sp?). Shame, some people are just sick.

Yes, quite sure, as a matter of fact.
I know that some of his actions were horrible, but such things are unavoidable when you are a dictator and want to remain in the position of power. His ultimate goal was to stabilize Middle East and unite it under Iraq’s leadership, the very reason why USA and their allies invaded Iraq in the first place – they didn’t want a strong union in Middle East, they needed weak separate states from which they would be able to pump out the natural resources, mainly oil.
And Saddam died as a true martyr, with the Words of Allah on his lips.

Even if the things you said were true (which they aren’t), it would only give USA more reasons to murder Saddam – to silence him once and for all. There is no such thing as Gratitude in politics, just as there is no such thing as Justice in there.

The global media apparatus would be fully capable from preventing people from being contaminated by Saddam's words; they would not broadcast any outburst from the former tyrant. And even if a small, independent news service picked up on the comment, it would be ridiculed by the mainstream news which is controlled by the global power structure. Of course gratitude does not exist, but pragmatism does. What dictator would be willing to strike a deal with the US knowing that they will be summarily murdered after they outlive their usefulness.

Just to clarify things…
Are we talking about secretly transporting Saddam to some isolated island, or about letting every dictator and their dog know about this whole affair?

Every dictator and his dog do already know about the arrangement. In fact, every member of the global power structure is aware of the events which are currently transpiring. Have you heard of the snafu which occurred yesterday, prior to Saddam's hanging? Iraqi officials said that they were in possession of Saddam, yet Washington denied this. Why? Because Saddam was secretly being shipped to a remote island.

If that is the full video of the execution, remove the link now. Several people have already gone on a Mod-supported 3 day vacation for doing that.
Edit-nevermind. You got that out right before I posted this.
I think a great deal of people are taking sexual pleasure from this. Judging from responses on the thread about him dying, anyway.

Tis a sick world.
When I viewed the video, it was greatly disturbing. Even watching a horrible man die should not be pleasurable.
However, one must only remember that public execution has been a form of entertainment for quite some time(Gladiators in Rome, Execution in town squares almost everywhere, etc), to realize that the world is full of sick people.

As I have said before. Saddam Hussein is not dead. Instead the Americans and Iraqis have done the world a huge favour and executed Mel Gibson.
