No, 'everyone' would be covered by General, NationStates, and United Nations. All of the moderators have ventured into one or another of them at any time; we have Generalite mods (Kat, Erastide, Cog, etc.), UN mods (HotRodia, Frisbee), and roleplayer mods (Rep, Scolo, GMC, Hack, etc.). Many UN forum posters also venture into II; many II posters venture into NS; thus we cover almost everyone this way. Except II's resident n00bs and such.

Of course, if we could get rid of General and replace it with something else -- like NSXP -- we could also be without all the trolls and such over here too. Meh.

And a lot of people are still around, for some reason. The number of people who still remembered me after I came back from a multiple-month hiatus was a bit surprising.

We seem to have lost posters such as Sinuhue, the Noble Men, Grainne Ni Malley, Jocabia, Deleuze, Simonist, Lord-General Drache, Colodia, and others; at least, if they do come here, it is without such frequency as they used to. The days of 98% of the teenage population, zombie bunny, Neo Rogolia, and the UN Abassadorship are long over, replaced by the days of Gabbly, winter-break trolling, and alternate genders. In short, General is essentially unchanged from the way it used to be, except for the names and current trends.

Surprisingly, in real life the Mods are not all that fond of banning, warning, and watching people. They'd much rather sit around and act like normal people if given the chance, and only volunteered to be moderators because they were asked to and the game needs someone on duty. In short, they're giving their spare time so we can have a goatse-, flame- and death threat-free forum; I'm sure many of them do enjoy some of their responsibilities, but most of them are probably tired of banning, warning, and watching people (and such activities).

The Beautiful Darkness, Rhaomi, and Vetalia. The Beautiful Darkness for her beauty, kindness, and necessary femaleness, to allow for repopulation. Rhaomi for his humour and joy in even the darkest times, to keep us from succombing to dispair, and Vetalia for his vast knowledge and skills.

And once our puny chunks of flesh eventually fall together and rot away, the issue of humanity and the miserable state of its nature will be solved - forever. I'm not going to take a gamble by bringing along any person that could procreate with the rest, as it, once our generation had passed away, would probably lead to humanity repopulating the earth and resuming its moronic ways similarly to how it has done before.

It is generally considered too few, but you want to maximize your chances even in the case of a long shot. Here, I'll show you the math behind the one-man population boom...

Now, let's assume that we have the wherewithal to produce eight kids that survive to adulthood per nubile young female NSGer over their lifespan.

With 2 and 2, we have a second generation of 16, which in turn would at the same rates average a third generation of 64 with no inbreeding at all. (This is a tropical paradise, right?) At full exogamy, this is the last generation with no inbreeding, as all 64 have the same four grandparents. For any hidden nasty lethal or debilitating recessive with only a single copy, there's a 1 in 64 chance it pops up in the next (fourth) generation, reducing it to ... oh... something on the order of 256-4n, theoretically, where n are the hidden lethal recessives.

With 3 and me, we have a second generation of 24. Any potentially lethal recessive that I have could crop up as early as the third generation, to the tune of 1 in 16 (ouch!), meaning the third generation is "only" of the general order of 96-6n1, where n1 is the number that I alone carry, i.e., on average 1/4 n, so 96-1.5n. If we're careful, though, none of the next generation will have any repeated great-grandmothers, so the fourth is then possibly (96-1.5*n)*4*(1-0.035n), or roughly of order ~384-7n. After that, we start accounting for repeated grandmothers, but at generation five, the genes should be looking fairly well shuffled, and with the larger population, you have more healthy "noise" from random mutations trickling in.

Unless my genes in particular are riddled with numerous lethal recessives, the three and me shot has a better chance at establishing a new population of humans. It does, of course, mean much more work for me, but I should be willing to make such a sacrifice. :P
