Is Google Down?
I've been unable to acess google (or wikipedia for that matter). My browser's saying the server stops responding. Can anyone tell me if google works for them?
Edit: Actually, it just came back. Can a mod delete this thread?
Actually, this is odd. It isn't working again.

Google is working fine for me.
It must be your browser or your internet connection.
Google came back but I still can't acess wikipedia. Can someone check that one?

They're both working fine. Must be something your end.
I was having trouble with wiki yesterday (the page layouts had been changed into something that looked like it was from the internets of 1995), but today it's fine, and so is google.

Could be to the problems with Asia. The 'quake in Taiwan a couple of days ago knocked the main cables out.
They had to re-route everything through other servers which weren't designed to handle the loads. So I (along with Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and China) couldn't access any US pages until tonight.

Mine works fine, combined with the fact that if Google and/or Wikipedia were down, I would have found out by now. There would probably be more than a few posts in here too. Maybe your computer is dying?

I've never been outside of the US (alright, I've been in the Virgin Islands), so that's not the problem. I'm gonna restart my computer and see if that does anything.
It's not my browser, because it won't work in firefox either.

No, I meant that maybe the strain on the other servers to cope with the re-routing was causing problems elsewhere.
