Just a reminder that Dec. 20-30, 2012 is now 5 years away! So what do y'all think will happen (if anything) in the year 2012? Personally I think we're either going to get slammed with a meteor, Yellowstone Exploding, or nothing. What do y'all think?

I do so remember 2000 and June 6 2006. I really don't believe in the prophecies of a civilization 500 years ago that sacrificed people to a sun god and worshipping the stars. That's my 2 cents

I find it strange how our mortality can lead us naturally to fear. A lot of people seem to want to know when the end is coming about, and the great apocalypse will arise. I contemplate what purpose that really has in our daily existence and trying to enjoy the lives we have. We're all going to die, sure, part of nature, but what good does it to focus on a date? Death is no man's design, nor is time or space. We have better things to sit around and discuss as far as philosophy may be concerned, and I tell you exactly what I will be doing on that day. I will be living my life as best can be expected, not giving a damn about an end of all things.

Well, it has been foretold faggotry would be the end of all civilisations, so it's just fitting that way.

I believe there may be some sort of event or passage, though it is very unlikely. And, of course, the Mayan calendar actually ends on October 13, 4772.
