I hate eggs. The thought of eating a baby chick sickens me.

Then again, I eat other sickening stuff like beef, pork, etc. :p

Eggs aren't baby chickens any more than ova are baby people.

Scrambled or fried sunny side up...

I know you said its only about chicken eggs...but just wanted to say that duck eggs suck at scrambling!

The only way I know how to prepare eggs is scrambled, so I'll go with that.

Sounds good. I'll have to try them sometime. Do you use just pesto or add pesto to the mayonaise and mustard when mixing the yokes?

I can't stand eggs. Which sucks, because when we go out or breakfast I am stuck eating Sausage McMuffins or Pancakes (side rant: Why can't resturants make good pancakes? I can do it, and I can't cook squat!).

Make mine over medium please. Medium rare on the steak and tomato juice please. :)

YEAH! They're always burnt...unless you ask for them light. McDonald's has good pancakes that have some anti-reheat chemical...whenever I try to microwave them, they taste like crap.

Add pesto to taste, then mayonaisse for consistency. No mustard, it doesn't go well with pesto. Put in a little lemon juice, otherwise the yolks will oxidize and look like baby poop (it still tastes ok, just looks funky)

I like my eggs scrambled, fried, as an omelette or with bacon. I don't really have any preference between those 4.

Where do you eat your breakfast?

I like my eggs fried. But that's because I'm Puerto Rican. I speak for all 4 million people.

I once overheard a guy say this while eating eggs: "What if a bird ate an egg and was like 'Mmm, this came from my p***y!'?"

You must have a pretty special line of thinking to come up with something like that.

Ah, so many of these choices do not conflict . . . fried eggs with scrambled eggs with bacon . . . maybe followed by poached(sp?) eggs, made in chicken broth.

Eggs are delicious.

I like them in all ways possible. A perfect flavor for the perfect protien. Literally, perfect, an egg has every single fatty, amino acid, as well as every other important nutrient except dietary fiber.

I don't. I find both the taste and smell of eggs to be atrocious.

(side rant: Why can't resturants make good pancakes? I can do it, and I can't cook squat!).

What restaurants are you going to?

McDonald's has good pancakes that have some anti-reheat chemical...whenever I try to microwave them, they taste like crap.

Stick with Burger King if your going for fast-food breakfast. Their French Toast sticks and hash browns are the only things that justify that franchises continued existence.

Waffles, French Toast, and Pancakes (especially with fruit or some good syrup), kick the shit out of eggs any day.

Damn you Ifreann! I've been enjoying my giant Toblerone bar and now you have to make me want something I can't have (at least not at this time of the year). Cadburys Cream Eggs. They're so full of sugary goodness! So much sugar that they'e almost as bad for you as a huge cane of candy floss.

So, how do you eat yours?

If it helps you any, 99% of the eggs that reach the shelves (there's always a few) wouldnt have hatched anyway. I saw on TV once (though I don't remember how it works) there's a machine that can tell if an egg is fertilised or not. The fertilised ones go to the hatchery and the unfertilised ones go to packaging.

This goes for Caged and Free Range hens. The eggs are handled the same. (excepting low volume private farms of course)

They're not available near you yet? The corner shop not 50 metres from my house has been selling them for almost a month.

And I eat mine with chips.

As for other eggs - fried, boiled (soft or hard), poached, scrambled, omelette, or eggy bread (soak bread in beaten egg then fry it).
