Gin and tonic. It's named in that order for a reason.

70% gin, 30% tonic, with a slice of lime on the top of the glass. It's nice stuff.

And if you're feeling like an alci, then you can't go wrong with scrumpy - it tastes like apple juice, so you can neck down pints of the stuff, but woe betide you if you try to stand up off your chair - you will fall and feel like you're keeping on falling for ages. Eugh.

I came up with my own drink!

It's called the Drunk Monkey.

I take a frozen banana, some chocolate milk and some khaluha and mix it up in a blender.

If youw ant to go for something a bit more international sounding, try the irish car bomb:

3/4 pint Guinness® stout
1/2 shot Irish cream
1/2 shot Irish whiskey

Add the Bailey's and Jameson to a shot glass, layering the Bailey's on the bottom. Pour the Guinness into a pint glass or beer mug 3/4 of the way full and let settle. Drop the shot glass into the Guinness and chug. If you don't drink it fast enough it will curdle and increasingly taste worse BUT if you down it all quickly its delicious and it's liek a dessert at the end.

So, my idea of a nice drink is to buy the cheapest largest bottle of whiskey I can find, and pour a shot or two into a glass. The I pour coke over it. With maybe some lime.
oh. And margaritas. Cannot forget the margarita. God's gift to mexico.

Being as I am in the presence of a large number of internationals, and I am actually beginning to wonder what I am missing, I ask you to tell me what you know about your national drink.
Ok. I feel responsible. Forget that whisky part Rooseveveldt wrote... I'm sure he/she is a good person nevertheless.

National drink: Koskenkorva (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koskenkorva_Viina) and spring water... or whatever... coke, juice, piss... tastes good nonetheless.

As a Weird Dupe, this thread offends me.

Where is the non-dupe thread? Did the mods act quickly and delete it?
