Are they weaker than in the U.K.? I've seen people get away with talking rubbish about their products in the U.K. (eg. making something look 'healthy' because it's low fat when it's full of artificial rubbish), but I just found this: chewing gum that claims to be healthy yet contains sugar - and since you're not supposed to eat chewing gum, I can't see what possible health benefit it could have. Here's where it claims to be healthy: http://www.gleegum.com/ and here's a list of ingredients on one type of gum: http://www.gleegum.com/tangerine-gum-ingredients.htm

Chewing gum helps get the saliva going (It wouldn't help me, but for most people that's a good thing). Of course, sugar would kind of negate that fact.

I'd like to point out that chewing gum is very dangerous, but generally only when swallowed and if you have incredible stomach acids. It doesn't stay in your system for 7(/whatever) years, it passes through your system mainly untouched.

There is no way that chewing gum is anywhere near as good as biltong (I love me biltong) But yeah, you're not supposed to EAT chewing gum, when chewed the nutritional (lol) information is mostly irrelevant.

Oh, something I forgot to mention.

WTF? I'm sure in this case there is a total of badness for you, They so can't claim it's healthy, there are potentially healthy aspects, but on a balance scale it just doesn't weigh up.

Never heard of it, and it looks like they stole their emblem dude from Microsoft's Clipart.

It's a lie we tell the Europeans to make them think that we aren't total anarchists.

Ahh, they say they're healthy because it's all natural.

Natural flavours and colours have all the nasty impurities, artificial, you know exactly what you're getting.

When you extract something form a plant, there will be crap in it. When you mix two chemicals to make one, that's what there will be (Unless it's an equilibrium equation, then they have their ways of making it good, but it takes more time and energy)

All natural isn't healthy, Cyanide, Arsenic, Nightshade, these are all natural.

this reminds me of a Dateline special, where they put Nesquik in pill capsules and made a commercial for them claiming they helped make your skin B-E-A-UTIFUL.
i laughed.
