I myself am a train conductor in the UK. This year I have to work christmas eve and boxing day (December 26th which is a public holiday here in the UK), but I am lucky enough to recieve extra pay etc for doing so. So here is a big thankyou to the policemen, firemen, ambulance drivers, nurses, doctors, soldiers etc, etc, who are working the holidays as a matter of course. Cheers folks!!
Thanks to all those that can't be home for Christmas because of their jobs! :)

I jump at every chance to work on Christmas, it keeps me from the annual FFF (forced family fun). Plus I enjoy cooking for my co-workers that are stuck working the holiday.
