How about just 'Islamic Terrorists'? That seems to get the point across. But for Gods sake, not 'Islamofacists'. That bloody phrase kills a braincell everytime I see it, as does 'Homicide Bomber'.

Homicide bomber is a stupid redundancy. All bombers are homicide bombers. What makes teh particular type of attack we are talking about unique is that, unlike Timothy McVeigh or Ted Kazinsky, they commit suicide while doing it.

The terrorists have proven extremely unccessful in scoring high casualties , other than 9/11 they've failed to kill many with one attack , look at 7/7 or all the suicide bombings they do they don't kill many and they don't make that much of a difference in the long run .

But the point surely isn't to kill as many as possible? Even a car-bomb detonated in a public place harming only a few people would be sufficient to create an unease in the population and, well, a lot of terror. People wouldn't feel safe after such an attack, even if the casualty rate was low.

That's why I find the idea of "fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over here" to be silly and absurd. If the terrorist wanted to, they could easily have struck again.

I have never called them Jihadists since I'm well aware that the Koran does not preach that it's okay to kill the massess of innocent civilians, the terrorists are brainwashed by a few and supported by others.

I call them either terrorists, extremists, or insurgents.

Mujahideen. Plural for Mujahid which means "struggler"/"fighter" (roughly). The root is from "jihad".
