What are you still doing here reading this then? :D

I was just curious for a count on who has 'left' NSG (willingly, not booted for bad behavior) but have found yourself back here.

EDIT: Oh yeah, for the record, I've left meaning never to come back because it took too much of my time and I was avoiding doing what I was paid to be doing and it lasted about two weeks I think.

I was around from 2003-2004ish. I left because I went back to college and real life issues were way more important than what was going on in NS.

Now I'm back because I have internet access at work and a lunch hour to kill. :D

Well one can find a good quality discussion if one tries. Just ignore those who dont contribute to the discussion and pay attention to the thoughtful people.

I was forced to leave this past fall because of marching band, but I came back. Nothing keeps me away from NSG.

I left meaning never to come back, and couldn't stay away. I was gone for about six months I think, and now have about as many posts as I did with my first nation. Scary, huh?

When I was first here on NS back in November 2004 I was PIcaRDMPCia. I hung around for several months but then finally left as it became boring for some reason or another. I didn't show up again until long after my original nation had crumpled into dust, hence my new join date of February 2006.

I was here once, under a nation that shall go unnamed, but got bored and left for a year or so. I came back because I was bored out of my skull, and since then I leave and reappear based on the movements of the subatomic particles that are hurled from the sun.

If i win the NS GEneral Fantasy Football league, i'll leave NS.
That was my goal last season too.
I was 6 points away from winning my semifinal match(If i had picked a different player from my squad i would have) my score in the 3rd vs 4th place matchup was good enough to win the final if i had made it.

So if a few games are thrown in the next 3 weeks i'm outta here.

I have this habit of deciding to leave, stay away for a while, get lured back in, only to find that my nation is somehow fucked up as far as forum acces goes, and keep posting under a different nation then. This is my fourth active and revealed-as-mine forum account.. so theoretically, in yet another four failed leaves, I shall have to create new nations.

No, seriously, I tend to 'leave' because of a mixture of time restraints and a feeling that posting here really is rather pathetic every half a year or so, and ususally come back after a couple of weeks because of a mixture of boredom, addiction, and the necessity to stalk. ;]

ok i busy at time miss it, so thank you

I always seem to leave NationStates around August and come back in October or later. This year my hiatus was a bit later and more extended (September to a few days ago), and I'm far less active than I once was, but I never seriously thought I wouldn't come back. I've still got a year or so before I'll reach that stage, and even then I might keep my nations alive just so I can eventually reach 20 billion people or something. ^_^

Why anyone would want to leave on their own free will is beyond me. I've said it before, I will always be here until Jolt goes down and doesn't get up again.
