hmmmmm......

Rugby, I think. It's like saying chealsea or england.

Or to people in the US American football or soccer?

Soccer, dunno how to play A football:confused:

If i get the question, I like football more than rugby, probably because I've never had the oppurtunity to play or watch rugby. I like to play football to more than American Football, but I like to watch Am. Football more, usually.

Although for me, baseball is the world. (lets go Mets!!!)

Well, thanks for clearing that up. Obviously I didnt get that and wrote a post saying I liked rubies instead of answering the question which was whether I liked Rugby or Football better. Oh, I do feel such a fool now.

I like rubies, (and rugby).

rugby is similar to football as an apple is similar to a fire hydrant.

There's just no comparing them. Besides, curling beat them all.

Curling is for people who are good at janitorial work.

Hockey beats them all. Real Man's (and Women's!!!*) hockey played on ice, not the feild hockey stuff played by teenaged girls on grass.

*Still fondly remembering Canadian Women's utter destruction of Italy at the Torino Olympics.

Having played both, I like football better than rugby. It's just a better sport all-round. However, if you're feeling psychotic and wanna maim people, rugby's the way to go.

I know some pretty fine female Hockey players and know of 2 who are Ice Hockey players that are darn scrummy, however past that i expect them to be toothless which is mostly undesireable.

Yes because real men take dives, occasionally score a goal before lieing on the gorund and being humped by their team mates.

Hate both, hate them, hate them, hate them. If englands captain were the son of god then I would have 666 shaved football fan style into the back of my head.

Having said that though I'd rather play rugby than football say, if my life or the future of humanity depended on it (let it never be said I have no altruism). My sense of survival is high and I run FAST. Easier to do that with a ball you're allowed to carry in your hands. This actually backfired on me once and I nearly got picked for the school rugby team. The teacher didn't seem to care that I detested playing but I won out because I managed to show that if I were to stay after school for the matches and practice then I'd have a 7 mile walk home from missing the last bus :)

I prefer football by a country mile, what with Union being a game played by oompah loompahs and cave trolls.... I do quite like league though.

I do like football, but rugby as a whole and rugby players seem far less conceited.

If rugby were as popular as footie is around the world, ruggers would be just as conceited.

i was pretty good at playing rugby, largely because i'm welsh and fit the mould pretty well.... shortish at 5ft 10, quite heavy/stocky, short legs (low centre of gravity), good sprinter, quite strong..... all went in my favour. used to play prop or second row but eventually simply lost interest.

these days i like watching 6 nations on tv :)

Probably true, but right now they ain't. Although Gavin Henson is making a start.
