I vote Burger King for that oh so wholesome fresh flame grilled taste with bundles or crispy lettuce and tomato.

None of that wax in a wafer bun that's been sitting under a light for 2 hours. You don't scare me freaky clown.

Subway isn't that great. The people there are cool, but the food isn't very good. I once got sick from their carne asada sandwich because it was way undercooked. I do love getting free drinks from them, though, so i cant complain :p

McDonalds - tastes like chemicals.

Burger King - way too much sauce.

Haven't been to either one in years. There's plenty of great local burger joints around here, and some of them are even cheaper than the national brands.

mcdonalds - isn't good

burger king - whoppers are alright, but i don't like the chips

subway - fresh food don't smell like that, why can you smell that subway smell for miles? and why does every sandwich taste the same?

A&W - glasgow has one - its ok

KFC - nice chicken and nice chips

Greggs the Bakers - good for rolls and steak bakes

best near my work - 'Cisco's' - home made soup and super fine deli food all fresh fresh fresh and locally grown/sourced.

I go there occasionally. Sometimes I'll go to the other chain-stores (Baker's or Gus Jr.'s or Archibalds) if I'm in a hurry, but I still like to support local businesses when the product is good.

Edit: Almost forgot, if you don't mind paying a little extra, I'm a huge fan of The Hat. I frequent the one in Upland. Great stuff.

The one near me has an ATM by the door. :p

It's usually 20$ for three or four people, but you feel like you've eaten a lifetime's worth. Those orders of wet fries or chili-cheese fries must involve three pounds of potato. :)

I don't know about Burger King but I believe that McDonald's meat comes from two thousand miles away from cattle in Brazil, in which case it is generally two weeks old by the time it gets served to customers. Hardly local fresh produce. Either it comes from Brazil or it is rendered meat that comes off the trash heap of decomposing leftovers on a farm or meat factory.

I bet the meat from Burger King is at least as bad if not worse.

A restaurant is an establishment that serves prepared food and beverages to order. I believe Maccy D's and BK meet those requirements, usually quite quickly.

If you mean the sit down venue serving cultural/specific cuisines that you spend lots of money on, that's another type of thread. A Saturday afternoon with the kids? it's Maccy D's or BK, sometimes KFC or Wimpy.

Not here is the UK, it's normally British beef once it's been checked for mad cow disease. Anyway, as a meat eater, meat is meat, what part of the animal it came from is pretty redundant.

I say that you need to read up on what constitutes child cruelty before you ask that kind of question. It's not like you're refusing to feed them. You're just going to a different restaurant.

Besides, if you have to eat fastfood, go to Wendy's. BUT DON'T TOUCH THE DOUBLE MELTS! Seriously, I used to work at Wendy's. Those things are disgusting. That cheese sauce? IT'S POWDERED!
