I dont normally read the bible, but, suprisingly, Medieval 2: Total War threw up this particular passage in its quotes box:
"And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places."
From the mouth of The Man himself. Its Matthew 24:6 if you want to see yourself.

So, I think its rather funny that almost every war involving over 20,000 people throughout history has been hearalded as the end of the world, along with every plauge, minor famine and slight civil unrest, and here Jesus says "Guys, thief in the night. Srsly u need 2 listen 2 me, lolz."

Gotta love it.

Translating the n00b speak, I think he's saying that people always say the world is about to end. However he reckons he's caught Jesus saying chill out, its not yet. Not that that makes any more sense.

EDIT: I guess he's saying that Jesus said the world definitely won't end 2000 years ago.

Well your a pretty dim muslim then. Jesus = Isa , he is one of Islams most important prophets. Directly behind Mohammed. What he says should have a lot of relevance to any sincere practicing Muslim. However the main difference is, that Mohammed refutes the idea the Jesus Christ was the son of God and that his followers raised him to that position not he himself.
I myself know quite a few muslims here, because they live in a predominantly Christian country who celebrate Christmas out of respect to the main culture. They don't see a problem in celebrating Jesus (Isa's) birth, only they leave out the part of his being the Messiah or son of God in their celebration of it.

You missed the part where he said some of his disciples would live to see it. Most obviously, Matthew 16:28 'Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.'
