I blame genetics, for making me too big, too furry, and a bear who likes to promote peace and love. She-bears always go for the smaller males with inferiority complexes and a tendency to roar impressively all the time and scavenge for food like mad.

Is it really such a bad thing that I am secure enough in my bear-ness that I don't need to roar all the time? Can't a bear promote personal responsibility and peaceful cooperation rather than stealing picnic baskets from silly hominid tourists and still get it on with a cute, cuddly she-bear?

I blame my own moral code: I won't do casual sex, and I won't push a woman I'm in a relationship faster than she's signalling she's willing to go. Unfortunately, not being sexually aggressive often makes one look too timid, thus undesirable.

I am just repeating the answer I recieved when I asked this question, I personally don't like the policy: They say that they've had problems in the past with guys not understanding no means no. Not like they go around raping people at these parties, but they are persistent to the point it makes people uncomfortable. Asking one person over and over if they could "participate" for example.

I disagree with the policy because everyone who goes to these events goes through a screening process, whether it's a private party or a dance/club environment. So I don't see why they can't screen out individuals that would cause problems. Everyone wants a mellow and safe place to "party," so I'm fine with the screening process. I just wish they didn't catagorically exclude people.
