Weird, but the Israeli satellite tv network YES seems to think so. they've dropped BBC from their lineup in favor of Al Jazeera. I wonder if YES has any connection to the YES (Yankees Entertainment and Sports) network on my cable lineup?

reality is anti-israel bias. this is simular to when the american ambassabor to ireland claim ireland was just as responsible from 11/9 as the terrorists cause of our "anti-american" media.
I blame George Steinbrenner for this:D
And Steinbrenner in turn blames A-Rod. (Have the Yankee fans blamed A-Rod yet for Cory Liddle's death?) He is their scapegoat after all.

it said nothing about being too biased for Israel in fact odds are it was dropped because Al Jazeera is more local

Well, he gets paid better than most scapegoats, so he shouldn't complain.

The BBC has had a difficult time over its coverage of Israel, with regular accusations of bias coming from both the Israeli and Palestinian sides.
That part of the article made me think bias might be a factor.

BTW, Al Jazeera was probably brought in because it would get good ratings in Israel where 20% of the population is Arab. It's a good business move IMO.
