sometimes i just feel that humanity is stupid. And deserves a good purging till only a few children too young to remember the idiocy are left.

It is counter productive to hate your own speices. It means that you will alwas be angry. Better to just laugh at the stupidity and that way you'll be happy at least!

I get that feeling sometimes too when I'm depressed with the fed up shit that goes on in the world, although I don't typicaly stop at leaving a few people alive or the world intact either come to think of it. I normally just try to find something funny to get over it.

Waste of resources. All you need is a few more advances in nanotechnology and genetic engineering, and someone( perhaps an insane clown with delusions of grandeur) will be able to reshape the human race to fit his ideals. When people develop an uncontrollable urge to play in mud, kick friends in the groin and/or refuse to take anything seriously, you will know why. :)

*ahem* On topic though. Yeah humanity gets on my nerves. Sure they screw up a lot of the time. But they do a lot of good things too right? Video games, comedy, cartoons where mice can be as violent as they wish. And let's not forget Coca Cola! Eh? The drink of kings!

Anyway. In my personal if insane point of view, the very trouble of the human race is always politicians and dangerous fanatical cults with political backing. Hopefully one day there will be somebody there to tell them to just chill, sit back and enjoy a nice tall frosty glass of cakemonade. They can even have a cigar if they wanted.

I hate people as well. But without people, there shall be no ice cream, no one to put the goat cheese in those little plastic things I buy at the stores.

I happen to love the human race. It's foolish to hate something without a comparison, and the potential that occaisonally manifests itself is a wonderous thing to behold. They are all you have, and if you would forsake them, you are only betraying yourself. What is it that seperates you from them anyway? Maybe you are projecting something you hate about yourself onto the human race.

Stupidity is the punishment to its own crime. I think climate change, overpopulation and the depletion of fossil fuels will see to the purging of a great many humans in not that long.

Humanity does suck, yes. "Humans are basically good" is hogwash.

That said, I don't think we should be purged.

I get depressed about humanity sometimes...then I remember that I ignore most people anyways. :p

And hence, all the comforts you've lived with will most likely be vaporized, and you will need to live a life of hardship. I'd imagine such a comet strike would also greatly deplete our food supplies, etc. It would suck ass.
