Each government need to invest their budget in a certain area...
What I would like to know, which one do you think is the one that needs the most money out of a country's budget.

I personally that it should go to Education and Culture, cause I think that it's the basis for a good economics and a good army force.

The NHS, the police and the Education system.

There are too many in Britain that needs more funding but the three that I have mentioned are in most desperate need of it.

I'd say that the NHS is less in need of money and more in need of less unsustainable targets, immediate renationalisation of the PFI black holes, abolishing trusts and the bureaucracy that goes with the above.

I would focus on three points, education, healthcare and social programmes, all of which provide equal access for all members of society. It would have a campaign that would reach even the poorest. If you can give those with little hope, health and education, you've given them enough to rise up.

Won't someone please think of the children?

Education is the way to make sure that, in future, the current problems in society (eg. anti-social behaviour, teenage pregnancy, drug abuse, and ultimately poverty generally) are resolved.

Plus the NHS, so that people get a decent life after their schooling.

I'd invest in the economy... by getting rid of taxes and ending government inflation, as well as getting rid of all of those useless regulations so that common law can do what it's meant to do.

Defense. There's almost nothing else a government needs to do.

Or even better - taking the politics out of it. The Bank of England's doing much better now that it's free of politics after being removed from the government - it's not like we couldn't fund it, we could just let the hospitals be run by hospital staff rather than the demands of the Labour Party's re-election.

It would be better if it were not be used as a political football, but all the same the people who do run it must be democratically accountable to the people that use it.

Education, social security and healthcare are most important. Everyone should have free education, health insurance and social security if you loose your job or something like that. Its a bit confusing when you say "economy" because its such a big perspective, everything is about economy in some way or another. But I think that a good economy and good social welfare, requires a free market to generate money to the people and the goverment.

Technology. The military's great for developing new civilian technologies and commercializing them.

Eh, this works faster; you don't have to worry about some technology being lost or delayed because of a lack of commercial potential like it would in the private sector. Besides, military money does end up in education at some point through research grants (and it provides high-paying jobs for those engineering grads).

We should also boost funding for NASA for that matter.
