is rap music really that stale that it needs to copy original works from other people... even jumping a freaking gorge?

It does get ridiculous when the music is stolen from other rap artists.

There are people who now think that songs from old-tyme artists made new by R&B artists aren't really stolen... that kind of bothers me.

Would you be bothered if Kanye West made (right...) a song based pretty closely to something... say, like the Red Hot Chili Peppers? Or Sublime?
