Yup, just use the "Getting Help" function over at nationstates.net. (http://www.nationstates.net/46848/page=help) In the roll-down menu choose "Restore a deleted nation" and present your case, including the name of your former nation, that it was deleted for inactivity and that you'd like it restored. The mods restore nations all the time.

If you go to the FAQ section of NS, (not jolt forums, but in your nation's main screen in the side bar) I believe there is a link where you can contact a moderator to revive your nation and its original post count. I had to do that after a vacation once.

Just out of curiosity: Why should the initials of your country's name spelling a word matter? Mine spell FARK(Factually Accurate Realm of Kyronea) which was unintentional, but I never would have noticed it had UCK here not pointed out his own. I hardly think people would notice, and the worst thing they'd see would be an English language profanity. Hardly the stuff nightmares are made of.

The thing is that I recall this poster now and he used to make it quite clear that his choice of moniker was intentional. Pointing it out to the mods like this basically takes away any defence of "it was unintentional" he may have raised in futility.

The fact is, if the mods decide they don't like your name, it's out. So, if one day they decide some acronym is not comme il faut, it's out.
