and as a person who works with nurses, they tend to work long hours (12+ a day) dealing with rude patients, their family, visitors, Doctors with God Complexes, tight assed Admin Secetaries, JACHO survayers, HIPPA and Ethics administrators, an endless maze of red tape and they have to be precise when dolling out the drugs.
All with a pleasant smile and a positive attitude.
so I tend to cut them some slack with things like this. :)

I think the idea of waitresses dressng as nurses is a bit crude and cliche.
I understand why the nurses don't like it. Its giving them a bad name. But still, I don't see the point of geting too into it.

Hmmm.... The complaint from the Arizona State Nursing board is on the restaurant's web site. It lists statutory grounds.
In Arizona State A.R.S. ยง 32-1636, only a person who holds a valid and current license to practice professional nursing in this State ... pursuant to Sections 32-1668 may use the title "Nurse"

The US is far too prudish. If this place wanted to do it right, they'd have the waitresses walking around in short skirts sans undies, on a mirrored floor, ala the infamous no-pan kissa or no-pan shabu-shabu (http://mdn.mainichi-msn.co.jp/waiwai/archive/news/2001/08/20010826p2g00m0dm999000c.html) places over here. ;) (Then again, I understand nyotaimori has caught on in the States and Germany... look it up, as I'm not sure there are any safe links...)
