How do you get taxes lowered in your nation? Even when I specifically passed legislation to lower taxes, they still didn't go down. Help, before my people drown in a communist morasse! :confused:

Not every issue. I recently decided to give government subsidies to my auto industry and my tax rate jumped to 16%

First of all, remember that when you get an issue you've gotten before, if you don't want to increase the effect, just DISMISS the issue.
I took my nation from 100% down to 20% just by dismissing every issue that didn't reduce taxes or cut funding. It took a while, but be paitient, and don't choose any issue choices that require govt. support.
DISMISS, DISMISS, DISMISS.
