Inspired from Red vs. Blue. Pie or cake? The true question of our generation. Pie has filling, some cake has filling. Cake has icing, some pie has whipped creme.

I have to go with pie. Why? Because pies are more versatile. There are chicken pot pies and other assorted meat and savory pies, there are dessert pies and there are even throwing pies(which often overlap the first two categories). But there are no savory meat cakes. Well, except for crab cakes, but that's not enough to overtake pies. *nod*
However, while we ponder these questions, is a boston cream pie a pie or a cake? :confused:

Most cake tastes like crap. Too much frosting is desqusting. A good cake will have just a little bit of frosting.Ice cream cake is amazing, but I'm not sure that counts.
