Would anyone like to..

I'm about to go shopping, and I have two very nice, crisp twenties.

I've been thinking, before I give it away to be recirculated, I should write my nation name and a lil note on it.

Wouldn't it be cool if another NSer got my $20?

Would anyone like to write on their precious money, for the sake of an impossible dream?

I hardly think any NSer would get my money, but it's a cool thought.

Very cool. You can track bills by serial number at www.wheresgeorge.com (http://www.wheresgeorge.com), too.

They have a much better chance than if I were to sign a R$20 before spending it. As far as i know I am the only NSer in my state, and one of very few in the country.

Well, I have ten slightly-ruffled twenties. ;)

Me and my friend used to right love notes on tenners, I'd like to think they've brightened up someone's day, fact is they've probably been incinerated... still it would be awesome if someone found one.

Isn't that slightly illegal for you U.S.'rs?
Besides, there's plenty enough DNA trace and cocaine to keep any of the really industrious people busy.

I have seen a few samples of currency, though, that have the name "Bob" embossed on them ... and no, I don't mean WYTYG.

Good idea, I'll keep my eye out to see if any of your US$20s turn up here.

I think it's illegal to deface the currency here too, but it'd have to be on a pretty big scale before they'd prosecute you.

I find that quite disturbing. Paper money is supposed to be the last form of payment that is untraceable. How I spend my money is no one's business.

Then don't put your serial number in there...no one is forcing you.

I think that it's a great idea.
