Honestly, I'm usually afraid of Baptists, though I don't tend to have problems with them they're usually nice.

The people I know I'd hate on sight are those damn fundies who think that medicine is a sin and let their kids die from easily treatable illnesses.

I've never met a scientologist in person. I have a feeling I'd be a little leery of them, because what I know of scientologist viewpoints would have me believing they were either very easily led, or maybe a little crazy. But I wouldn't hate them, I'd just be cautious.

Is the poll for people who we hate by default? If so, I can't vote. I don't hate anyone (I come close, alot, but thankfully God preserves me from that sin). I can be (and am) incredibly annoyed and angry with people (most of the people my age from my high school and church) but that doesn't mean I hate them (wish them ill will and desire that they not repent). And this applies to members of other denominations and religions. I may hate what they teach (and often do) but that doesn't mean I hate the person.

I've attended a few Jewish services and if they're not a Godly people then we're all pretty much fucked. I've never felt the presence of a positive higher being anywhere more strongly than at Temple.

Actually, Sparta defeated the Athenians who were a democracy. Sparta was not a democracy and the other city-states really didn't have a democracy either.

You didn't know that?! After the Jews, the power of the Catholic Church was one he tried to break the most. A lot of effort went into breaking down loyalty to the Pope and parish priests (the 'crows') and instead be directed to Germany and himself.
