Friday the 13th vs. A Nightmare on Elm Street

Personally, I like them both, and my favorite movie of either series is the first A Nightmare on Elm Street. Freddy's bad sequels (pretty much everything besides the first) are better than Jason's bad sequels (everything beyond three or four).

Personally I don't like either of them.

I have the boxed set of Nightmare on Elm Street, and they are pure cheesy fun, although not as great as the Amityville Horror franchise which is pure gold.

I haven't seen a truly scary movie in at least 20 years though, and it was probably only scary then because I was a kid.

Werewolves are the only thing that really scare me. Freddy is good for the visuals, but Jason has that nice classic "Just keep comin'" thing goin' for him.

Freddy vs. Jason was a real joke. An 'unintentional parody' of the respective series. But Freddy really lost, because his kills (2) were horrible, he was verbally abused by the other characters, etc.

yeah, they actually didn't screw that up too badly. I was impressed.

I did jump twice watching that movie, which was tons of fun. Although once was to scare the annoying teen girls sitting in front of me.

I've only ever seen Friday the 13th part 7, and I saw that when I was a little kid and it scared the crap out of me. The only shows I've seen that have disturbed me are some episodes of Millennium.

I think now I'd be bored with Freddy and Jason.

Note: Does anybody remember that song done by D.J. Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince about Nighmare on Elm Street? :D

LOL. You know, they really should do a movie on the DeFeo's murder though.

Well, it's amazing, but I finally know the idiotic studio head responsible for "Freddy vs. Jason."
