I expect that you will all be at the Melbourne Victory game this Friday and that you will all support said Melbourne Victory patriotically. :D

So, anybody else going?

Nope. Although I do know that they're on top of the ladder anyway. Therefore they don't need my support, even if I actually were remotely interested in doing so. ;)

Yes, we bought our tickets today.

Damn you. I'm going in a large group, so we're going to risk just going for tickets at the gates.

Does this sporting event involve us New South Welshmen?

If so, I still don't care ;)

Yes, you're going to be the victims.

A group of us from work are going, so it seemed easiest to organise our tickets today.

Like I said, still don't care.

All Australian sport sucks. It is something that almost shames me to live in this country.

Hmm, I must confess as much as I prefer the higher standard and the better facilities etc of the A-League, I much prefer the Victorian Premier League for the atmosphere and the fact that being a crazy Maco, we have the opportunity to play against many of our bitter ethnic rivals. You also realise that you could probably play better than half the players who are playing for you as well. ;)

Well, the Melb-Syd games have a pretty deep atmosphere.

There's at least 8 of us going, maybe more, so we're not organised well.

I call it soccer too. Football to me means Aussie Rules.

I used to call it soccer, but when the A-League got big, my family influenced me and now I call it football. AFL is... AFL.

Whoah whoah, if we're talking about soccer, football, whatever, I retract my statement.

It's just that I never thought anyone here cared...

All the New South Wales population talk about is cricket and NRL and all the Victorians usually talk about is cricket and AFL. Its those sports that almost make me ashamed to be Australian.

We're going straight from work, to the pub, then to Docklands, so we'll be in fine voice by kick off. :p

I'd be going, couple of my mates invited me along, but I'm heading off to NZ tomorrow morning instead.

Y'hear that, ya Kiwi bastards! I'm a-comin, ya'd better get your air force ready!
Oh, wait... :P

Hey, I guess that means this'll be my last post on NS for a little while. Catch ya later!

We're gonna go straight to the Dome to get tickets at 3, then we'll go to Crown and watch the new James Bond, and get to the Dome by 8 for the game. It's gonna be EXCELLENT.
