Hey, i need help
Actually I was wondering if anyone else heard this story. My uncle told me he saw on CNN that the democrats blocked a bill that would keep electricity prices down. Evidently, the Dems blocked this with in the last few days, and now in the next few years, electricity prices will rise 55%. m
However, I haven't been able to find this anywhere. Does anyone know whats going on?

Blocked a bill to keep prices down? Not likely. More likely is that they blocked a bill lowering the environmental standards for coal fired electric power plants or something. The "liberal" media would likely spin that as voting against low electric prices rather than voting for mercury-free tuna fish.
But then I don't actually know what the bill was about. I just felt like pontificating a bit.

I know the climate change bill has been blocked a couple times but that would have increased electricity bills.
