I've prepared by facing away from the computer everytime I drink something, just in case.

Does anyone else think it odd that the bell curves are the EXACT same shape for each of the four groups, with no skewing? Particulary on the very low IQ side?


At any rate - Asians in the US tend to be more likely to come from families that REALLY push them to do well academically, and do not come from cultural backgrounds where doing well in school is frowned upon by their peers. Hence a possibly more likely reason for good performance in exams than innate differences in racial ability.

IQ testing is very unreliable and only tests a few learned skills, wealth, affluency etc. So you shouldn't really base an arguement on IQ testing!

Lets just accept that geniuses and idiots are prevalent in all races, religions, spectrums of the human species.

The wikipedia link to IQ means nothing. They show us the various Bell curves but where is the data, or better yet the test, that produced those results. That data is from 1981, and as was stated, race measured IQ has changed over the years. The differences are more cultural than anything I suspect. When you have a better educational system, you have better scores across the board. When you are poor and uneducated, you won't score well.

IQ is a very misleading and often misused measurement of "intelligence". It is not so much your knowledge, but abilty to learn and solve new problems. Interestingly, a person can change thier IQ by learning problem solving techniques and making use of learning aids when/if necessary.

I was wondering as in America 'Jewish' is rarely viewed as a race - just a religion, but in much of the rest of the world 'Jewish' is regarded as both a race and a religion. Someone can be racially AND religiously jewish, they can be racially and NOT religiously jewish or they can be religiously but not racially jewish.

If a the same IQ test was conducted in North Korea and South Korea, what differences would show up? North and South Koreans are of the same "race", so if any large differences show up can we conclude that any genetic-IQ link is farcical?

You are thinking of perhaps the Japanese and Korean "Asians". Take a trip to China sometime. I have never in my life seen a population beat with the ugly stick in mass as the Chinese. You would be hard pressed to find a handful of "Hot" Asians.

1. A predisposition towards diets rich in high quality proteins and other nutrients that aid the brain(such as fish.)

2. Emphasis placed on education and learning.

Over time, these factors will result in proportionally and relatively higher intelligence.
