Are you right- or left-handed?
I V Stalin
30-11-2006, 15:20
Kinda both. I think I was born left-handed but was forced to learn to write right-handed.
This theory is borne out by the fact that anything I learned to do myself (ie. play snooker, play guitar, etc) I do left-handed, while anything that I was taught to do I do right-handed.
Edit: I voted for 'Natural left, learnt ambi' on the poll, even though I can't really write very well left handed. Everything else I can do pretty much equally well with either hand.

Left handed. Completely and entirely. I once tried learning to be ambidextrous, and failed.

I'm right handed, in sport I have more power with my right and more dexterity with my left hand.

Naturally right handed. Started using my left more deliberately in my teens and now I guess I am ambidexterous, though self-taught.
I can throw, catch, write, punch, type, drive or give you the finger equally well with either hand. When I write,it just slants the other way.

both-ish
I can do just about anything with either hand, but write semi-nicer with my right hand, since when writing with my left I write upside down and backwards. (which I can also do with my right hand but it's pointless then)

Lefty here. I do just about everything with my left hand, but I can train myself to do things with my right hand. (I can play guitar with either hand, since I was originally taught right-handed but gave up on that idea when I got a left-handed teacher who advised me to switch...Now i'm about ten times better playing it left-handed.)

Left handed.
I accidentally hit the 'some function right handed' option, though.
I can't do anything write handed really, though I do use righthanded implements in my left hand if that counts for anything (left handed stuff is too expensive IMHO).
I also learned guitar right-handed - though that's actually better for a left handed person once the initial "weirdness" curve is overcome. Right handed guitars are also significantly cheaper. :D

Whats the deal with weasels?
Well, it started off as an inside joke between me and my boyfriend, since he's a 'waccoon' (yes, not 'raccoon') because he would drink the really gross left over flat pop in the fridge. I became a weasel because I'm good at 'weaseling' my way through crowds of people.
It has since evolved because people made a couple of weasel comments, and when I was getting my own domain (see my blog below in my siggy), I decided to live up to what it stood for. Plus, I got tired of trying to draw the fine line between sobriety and being baked, so, I went for the whole nine yards!
Plus, every NSG'er needs some bit of randomness that sets them apart from everyone else.

Bollocks. I was stuck in a rut. I had no rhythm in my right hand and couldn't do anything with it. Once I made the switch, I improved heaps.
Right handed guitars are also significantly cheaper. :D
But yes...that's true. Sigh.
I'm a little bit worried by that...

Yes, for example, I'm a Christian SimCity addict who feels that modern civilisation could very well be on its last legs. That doesn't necessarily mean I believe it's the end of the world, mind... But it's a distinct possibility.

I'm entirely left-handed. I can scribble with my right hand (see the "Whatcha write like?" thread), but it's not exactly legible and looks more like a kindergartener wrote it.

I'm very similar. I'm naturally left handed, but I do some things right handed (such as batting & bowling), because that's how I was taught. I throw, eat, write, use a mouse, etc left handed.
LEFT IS BEST! :)

I was originaly right handed but taught myself to write with both after my sisters friend who is left-handed broke her left arm and had to miss school. I wanted to make certain that if I ever broke my right arm, I'd be able to still write.

I'm right-handed, but I've injured my right wrist so many times that I had to learn how to do pretty much everything but write left-handed. I still can't even hold a pen properly in my left hand. Amusingly enough, I was ambidextrous in archery long before the wrist injury, so adapting for practice took no effort at all.
