Nor that surprising, seeing how bees would have to have a fantastic sense of smell for their "day job".

You'll have to save the carcass, and look up the brand in the Observer's Book of Bee Brands to identify the owner. BTW, bee branding is a very fine art, almost as difficult as roping one.
