1) There are an awful lot of Libertarians. Usually, they get yelled down by people calling themselves Socialists or Communists, but when somebody posts a poll with the options "Libertarian Left" and "Authoritarian Left", nobody picks the latter option.

2) Evolution is just a "theory". Probably a conspiracy one.

3) Religion is apparently a topic that is so important in everybody's life (both in religious people's and atheists') that it has to be discussed all the time, and fervently. Funny, it was never important in mine, except as an abstract, philosophical topic.

4) English is a language that lends itself to atrocious spelling.
