Well, who here writes? For fun or for a living. I myself have a little story going, which I update every now and then.

It's a story based off of Resident Evil, primarily the Outbreak Series.
So, if you write, post your stories so we can read and review them, and so that LG can take something completely out of context and screw it up beyond imagination. :)
If you've never tried to write, try it. It's great fun. It lets you exercise your imagination in anyway you want, since books have no limits.
Ooh! Me!
Well, sorta. I usually write well for papers and such, but haven't gotten semi-serious until recently.
Funnily enough, the first and only major piece of writing I've done was fan-fiction. Although, it did win a contest and netted me an autographed copy of a bestselling book, so it wasn't all pointless.

I did an entire fictional season of the TV series Survivor for another message board I go to...but then again, if I directed you to it, you would inevitably tell me I have too much time on my hands...and at the same time, there was another writer there who outdid me.

I write.
Though, I no longer use ff.net, as it is evil and unnecessary.
I prefer Fanfiction Sanctuary (http://ffsanctuary.net).
It works very much like ff.net, but we allow NC17 material!
Now, that I'm done with my shameless advertising, let me post my link: Click at your own risk (http://ffsanctuary.net/viewuser.php?uid=3) - seriously.
Most of my stuff is extremely questionable, both in terms of what the hell I was thinking and what I wrote... (I have quite a bit of NC17 material).

I'm writing a Naruto fanfic (yeah, I'm an anime nerd, or otaku) WARNING to younger people: Make-out scenes.

I am writing a SF-story atm... If you TG me your email-address, I can mail it to you. it is original fiction and already at ~25,000 words, but still work in progress.
What do you use to write stories? I tried everything: kWord, OOo, eventually I landed at \LaTeX{}, edited in joe.

I write a novel in November for NaNoWriMo this year it won't be done by the deadline but I am still working on it.
other that that I have written 3 non-fiction books one is being published this year and another next year.
my NaNoWriMo novel from last year might be published, I haven't decided yet.
Any writing I do will be in NS posts. I'm sure my literary genious is obvious. :p

I used to write horrors, but that was before I started going to college.

I write poetry--have two poems coming out in the next issue of the Southern Review (Winter issue, themed for writing about the south). Hopefully a book this time next year (it's the beginning of the major first book contest season).

I've made some money off my poetry over the years, and I occasionally write short fiction as well. I was planning on attempting NaNoWriMo this year, but had to cancel at the last minute.

I may sell some of my horror stories to magazines. I love writing, it's like an outlet for me.

I write alot of fiction as well as some poetry. I've never had any of it published, I seem to have a sort of aversion to it. I wrote some fanfiction in my younger days, but none recently.

I write short fiction and poetry, and sometimes song lyrics. I'm compiling some of the poetry into a book, and will be sending others in for publication in journals or magazines.
But most of my writing is roleplay stuff for various NS nations I happen to have. I find that it's good practice for me.
