Okay, enough debate over the meaning of the universe. Let's move on to something much more meaningful... er, trivial.

Are you a cat-person or a dog-person... or possibly both? And why?

Dog person, cats make my eyeballs swell up.

dog person because I have a dog and never owned a cat. Besides all the cats in the neighborhood sit on the wall in my backyard mocking my dog because he cant get them.

I hate em both because they shit and piss everywhere and you have to feed them. Bears, on the other hand...

Cats are awesome. Dogs are loud and obnoxious.

cats are either needy and annoying or stuck up and lazy while dogs are loud and obnoxious.

i think the shit factor scales tip towards cats because they shed all over the damn place and claw up everything if you dont get them declawed.

Cats rules, they are playful, cute, adorable, lovable, and all they ask is for food, water, and to clean out their boxes.

Cat person. Dogs are just too enthusiastic for my taste. And I can't stand their smell...

The cat across the street from me acts like a complete asshole. When I'm driving, he'll stand in the middle of the street waiting for me to stop, then he crosses. Either that or he crosses right when I'm close to him so I have to brake hard so I dont run him over.

Exactly. No work on my part.I take you point, but I still think I'd prefer to have a cat curled up in my lap than be devoured.

I like both, and have kept both as pets at one time or another, but I'm more of a dog person. No one and nothing in the world does a better job of making me smile when I'm having a rotten day than my very wonderful dog. :)

Don't complain... mine brought home a rat the other day. A big one. And not quite dead yet.

It's easier to find a dog with a great personality than to find a cat with a great personality, but if you do find such a cat, it can be quite fun. My new kitten Sokkwi is a fun furball of a guy, though the attention I give him makes Pepper, my old dog, jealous. (Though she does appear to like him personally, since she plays with him all the time.)

While I don't have any animosity toward dogs, I am a cat person. *nod* I find evil to be very entertaining. :)

dogs. Without question. I used to have a golden...best dog ever.

Currently, I have 3 black cats. In a 250 year old house. They plot against me, I plot against them. It works.
