Depends on the person you're talking to. Most defenders of Creationism don't bother with viewing both sides of the debate and are all to eager to throw god in everybodys' faces in the apparently firm belief that this would somehow prove them right.

I challenge you to find a single scientist who claims that the theory of evolution explains abogenesis, though. You're talking about two very different theories here.
Even when it comes to the areas covered by the theory of evolution, nobody will claim that we have a complete picture. What people will claim, however, is that there is ample evidence to support the theory of evolution, and little to none at all that supports creationism.

Intelligent Design IS Creationism - as that "Pandas and People" Text book court case demonstrated.

The following are extracts of the text book, and it's previous revisions where you can see the writers simply used find/replace for Creationism/Intelligent Design - following court rulings that Creationism was not allowed to be taught as science they rebranded it Intelligent Design without changing ANY other aspect of the theory.
