Who here watches it?

I came across it a few weeks ago on SBS in Australia, and I immediately fell for it.

Hard-hitting (and I mean hard-hitting) drama, great characters, and just generally well-written stories.

Have you heard of it? Do you watch it? Is there anyone who watched it and hated it?

And who's your favourite character? I'd say that mine is probably the Imam, desperately trying to make the world a moral place, yet never getting even close to succeeding.

And Schillinger has got to be one of the best "bad guys" ever.

Yep. They stopped making it in 2003, I reckon they should bring it back.

There's little really good TV-Drama coming out of the States (good meaning: stuff I enjoy). 'Lost' perhaps, and that's pretty much it.

We must be sisters!!! I'm in Australia too, love the show, saw it first-time half way through my HSC on SBS and just couldn't get enough of it!

Damn fine drama that I LIKE. On top of that, I'm with you on Imman Said - too much character for me to dislike in any way. I still think they should do another series, and keep with the story and philosophy and all.

I've seen it rather violent and Homo-erotic later on but as a Pirate i see a lot of that.

Well, it's a prison, what do you expect. Though I don't think much of it is particularly erotic. Most of it is rape.
