I just watched a video about people who buy and eat animal fetuses as a delicacy. Sounds OK to me, but what do you guys think:

You've never eaten an egg?

Kutti Pie?

I love it

Egg is unfertilised though, but I would eat kutti pi if it was sold mainstream over here. I don't really see anything wrong with it, and I don't see how anyone except vegetarians and vegans would.

Still the same in my eyes, really. Although I imagine a half-developed chicken fetus wouldn't go too well with bacon.

Hmm. The butcher shop scenes were freaky.
But I personally wouldn't mind trying some kutti.

Arent those a delicacy somewhere else?

China, I believe.

China, I believe.

Indeed. The Chinese philosophy is to eat anything that has all four legs on the ground and its back to the sky.

But chicken fetuses don't do either... :p

It's duck fetus and it's big in Manilla. It's called Balut I think.

Eating fetus doesn't scare me. I had Taco Bell for lunch. How many folks are brave enough to eat that?

That and "don't waste any part of the chicken."

I think you should reduce your sig to eight lines or less or else the mods might do it for you.

As for the topic - there's a reason humans are called omnivores... We eat everything.

Yeah, even Polonium 210 apparently.

I have to agree with Drunk Commies Deleted. If you're an American who has ever eaten at a fast food joint, then goat fetus, eyeballs, brains or any other seemingly odd foodstuff shouldn't bother you in the least.

At least it keeps the butchers from throwing the fetus' (feti?) out when they discover they're butchering a pregnant goat. Waste not, want not.

I thought she was pronouncing "cutie pie" in a weird way...

I don't know...I though Indians don't really eat meat. I know some do, but...

Spare parts market is awesome. No waste! :D

I remember watching one of the faces of death movies years ago and it showed these rich weirdos at a table with a live monkey in the middle of the table, the table locked around it's neck.. they bashed it's skull with a hammer and began eating it's brain. Since then, not much has suprised me in what a 'delicacy' is to some.

I saw that one! Pretty crazy stuff in those movies. Like the ritual cannibals. The best one ever, though, was the guy who was bungee jumping off a building and forgot that builders leave out the 13th floor, so the cord was like 10 feet too long and he just face-planted into the bushes after falling 15 stories or so. Classic Darwin stuff right there.

Well, some people eat bugs. Food is food and veal is a young cow that hasn't been weaned.

It's actually an Anglo-Indian dish. Check this out: http://www.rateitall.com/i-806942-kutti-pi-india.aspx
