You know those games that you play when you're like, 5 or 6? And it was such an AWESOME game, and you know it is even at your current age. And at this moment it still would probably be incredibly awesome to play? But you've completely forgotten the name of it, and even if you knew the name you know you could never find it? Well, I just found one of those. The name?

Dynamite Headdy.

Still the best game ever made. I swear, I will lose my life to that game all over again. But it's worth it. God may now be benevolent... Or maybe I just racked up some good karma? Who knows. All I know is I have my childhood back now.

Pfft. What about Contra? Double Dragon? I was watching Nick GAS the other day at a friends and there was a Double Dragon III ad, I feel like going to the flea market and buying one of those modified n64 controllers that can load NES games onto it which has hundreds on it already.

Sierra Online rocked.

Not so familiar with their more recent stuff, but Lesiure Suit Larry was a CLASSIC.

Of course, I cut my gaming teeth on Pong....

IIRC Freddy Pharkas was released around 1993? In either case, I'm of that generation too, except I always bought Sega cause all my friends had NES/SNES and they all came to my house to play Sonic. Hurrah!

The only games I played when I was young where those licensed Disney activity games, and those "Such-and such's Adventure" ones. The first proper game I remember playing was SimCity 3000 or Age of Empires, or something like that.

I'm the same although I just bought Civ 3 today for a change (now if I could only get it to work on my computer)

If I still had my cds for the Marathon trilogy, Civ 2, Sim Tower and Sim City 2000 (although that was on floppy) I would be a happy happy man.

Blades of Steel, an ancient Ice Hockey game was pretty nifty, Dogs of War was awesome too.

No, no... the lost sound of my childhood would have been The Dark Tower:

Apparently, I am one of a tiny minority, though. But that kicked ass.

5 Nations Rugby(No icky Italians), i think one could rename the players but if you ran into the post you were tackled and the was no injury time, the French seemed to like taking dropped goals from half way and on the wing as well.
