Trying to figure out what my Christmas present is...

So I'm enlisting the help of NSG!
Here's what she's told me:
-It can fit into a bread box
-It can be used with the computer, but it doesn't have to.
-It costs $150
-If it is used with the computer, it's like an upgrade to the computer
-Apparently I need a singular something else to make it work
-I also need a plural something else to work with it (I'm guessing like games in a console)
-It is electronic (Obviously)
-It is NOT a iPod or MP3 player or something like that.
-It is NOT a camera
Think you know what it is? I'm just frustrated trying to figure out what this is.

Doesn't she want to surprise you?
Its best not to figure out what it is
and just be surprised.
It'll make her happy!

Or…
One of those new printers the one where you can just plug a camera in if you wish and print off without using the computer!
I'm guessing a nice new monitor...or wait, that wouldn't be $150. What kind of computer do you have, and what things do you already have for your computer?

I have a decidely average computer. I can't play Oblivion, even on low. I can play Dawn of War on all high, though. I have a microphone, headphones (which I actually got for my CD player), a printer, my mom's camera, my mom's camera printer, and games don't cost $150, and it is NOT a camera, she told me that. Ram is 512, processor 3400+, harddrive 100gb (She wouldn't get me a new harddrive when I have over 75% of it still empty), RealTek 97 Audio, Nvidia GEforce 6100 graphics card.

She said it wasn't a camera. And I can't find any cameras that cost $150 that are digital.

I meant, does he already have a PC or a Mac. I should have asked specifically, "Do you have a PC or a Mac." I'm sorry.

She said that it doesn't HAVE to be used with a computer. I think that counts as a "only used for computer" thing.

Nah, it has to fit into a bread box. I am going to start making guesses. Feel free to prove me wrong.
Guess #1: Flash/USB drive.
She said that it doesn't HAVE to be used with a computer. I think that counts as a "only used for computer" thing.
Oh yeah, that was my real guess #1. Okay, shot that one down, so it's also not a video card.
Could it be a computer chair accessory? I've been seeing a lot of "chair massagers" that just sort of drape over a chair and massage you. It doesn't have to be used with the computer chair, and if it's folded up it could fit in a bread box.

they retail here for about £15 so unless America has just completely crashed $150 will be too much
maybe some kind of giant uber battery?

External Speakers? they can be hooked up to your PC and can be seen as an upgrade, or it can be hooked up to something else. they can fit in a breadbox, and do need a Singular something else to make it work as well as other plural things to work with it.

It sounds like a discription for one of those independent photo printers. Plural thing being paper and singular being ink cartridge or possibly batteries if it is a mobile printer.
This sounds right, but in your heart, you know it's a bomb.
actually I was thinking about a mouse. you don't need a computer to work it, it makes a great cat toy and also hurts as a weapon...

Sorry, I was writing up another chapter for my story. ANYWAYS...
It's supposed to be ELECTRONIC, so that kills the chair theory. And it's supposed to be a device for ENTERTAINMENT, so that rids the Camera theories, and chair comforter theories, the USB theories, and the speaker theories.

That's right. My theory is the most likely.
I think it's probably one of these and your girlfriend just told you the other stuff because a) she wanted to throw you off the trail, or b) she doesn't know enough about whatever it is to give you accurate information.

no it doesn't. Entertainment can be in many forms. pluging external speakers into an mp3 player or a cd/walkman will provide "Entertainment" a camera can provide tons of entertainment.
what's YOUR definition of Entertainment?
