My mother's still alive. The last time she was in the hospital they didn't expect her to leave.
My brother's home. Out of the army.
I have a king sized bed. Otherwise, with all my cats, I'd have to sleep in the floor. Now there's room for me.
I have the internet at home now. Using the library computer sucked.

I am very thankful for NS General, marching band, me flute (it saved me life in middle school :D), my sister Trinityness (she's my baby sister, I can't hate her forever--today's her 13th birthday anyway!), and later on today I will be very very thankful if nothing crashes into me house.

In no particular order, I'm also thankful for Imperial Star Destroyers, penguins, NationStates, the Su-47, Dilbert, Battlefield 2 and my growing post count which I wuv oh so much.
And congrats to Kryozerkia on 10k posts.

Oh, and I'm also thankful for being able to hijack the Thanksgiving threads, even though I don't celebrate Thanksgiving, from the North Americans.

Even if you get it, it's not as deadly as Yank-itis. Canuck-itis just makes you add "eh" to the end of every other sentence.

Really? I know very little about Canada, except that it's not uber-cold all year long, it has a NHS, and they like hockey. I figured that all out from Degrassi (I know, TV's a bad place to get info, but if it was made in Canada some of it has to be true right?)

I am thankful that I live in the country I do, even though it's going through some major crap right now.

I am thankful for my husband who is loving, supportive, dependable, responsible, and everything a girl could ever want, plus.......he does all the laundry.

I am thankful that my kids are intelligent, caring, respectful, loving and resourceful little people.

I am thankful that my dog is house trained..... (hey, you appreciate it after dog-sitting one who isn't)

I am thankful that this year I only have to make the rounds to the in-laws for dessert, and that dinner is at my house with just me and the kids and hubby and that he is cooking the turkey.

I am thankful that my kids and I are diagnosed and healthy, there are so many that are misdiagnosed and very sick right now.

I am thankful that hot cocoa is gluten free *goes to fix herself some*

It makes you ramble like an incoherent Republican, and makes you prone to boughts of stupidity, which includes attempting to justify the war in Iraq, why creationism must be taught. It also suddenly causes you to no longer understand British humour and makes low-brow American comedy funny.

The Canadian "totally freezing" and the North Carolinian "totally freezing" are two totally different "totally freezing"s. Here freezing is considered 50 degrees.

A known treatment is being exposed to Canadian humour, since no one understands it to begin with except for Canadians.
