A substitute science teacher was drawing blood from students so that they could observe their cells under a microscope. He used the same lancet on all the students. Well, I guess kids have got to learn about sharing needles sometime. Better that they learn it in school than on the streets.

How the hell can a biology teacher, substitute or not, expose his students to such a risk?

And I thought it was weird when I took biology and my teacher handed us pins and said we were going to test a small drop of our own blood...

It's called not thinking it through, or "seemed like a good idea at the time." One wuld hope the number of students with either AIDS or Hepatitis is very low, but these days, who knows?

I can't see anyone with a biology degree being able to not see anything wrong with this. So I'll assume he only has an associate's degree in liberal studies or something.
