In some other threads, some of us have kicked around an idea of NS General commandments. These are some of the unwritten rules of NS General; things that are already punishable by Mod action don't count. (Doesn't mean that the Mods can't help come up with ideas, but anything in the One-Stop Rules Shop isn't what we're looking for.)

Since I saw the other "Eleventh Commandment" thread, I decided it's high time to come up with a list of commandments. Everyone should contribute some, and then we can figure out which are the ten most important. Or we can expand it to 15 like in History of the World Part I.

I will get this started by proposing the commandment: "Thou shalt not use gun smileys, lest thou be mocked as a n00b." Someone else came up with that one in a prior thread after I suggested something else, just to give credit as far as I can remember.

Fine, if it makes you happy, we'll do two lists of five commandments each.

All right, we'll just get hammered and come up with them ost insane ones we can think of. "Thou shalt not make involuntary motions while drinking turpentine on the second Thursday of Febtober" might make the list...my God, I'm losing my mind.
