When I saw the title, that was the first thing that came to mind. If this guy was smart, he would keep the jelly on him. That way the police can never get a hold of him!

Last year here in Milan an Albanese inmate evaded from San Vittore prison... with the plain, old rope made out of bedsheets. Just as seen in oh-so-many movies...

I guess that the poor oily naked fellow didn't think about such illustrious examples.

I'm more of an 'escaped mental patient' kind of guy. But petroleum jelly does make escaping from straitjackets easier if you can manage to slick yourself up before they stuff you into it. :)
