So, after almost 5 years of this, the people who are running this war are finally beginning to understand it. Bush has yet to move past the stage where he beleives that blowing enough things up will end the threat of terrorism, but at least Blair gets it.
Sure, we have 5 years of idiocy to make up for, but at least the tacticians in power are beginning to understand that any "War on Terror" is more a political war than it is a conventional war (and, in fact, there's nothing conventional about it).
Will Bush catch on, or is he convinced that everything can be solved in just one more push?
