Brave New World- Iron Fist Socialists

We- Father Knows Best State

The Giver- Left-wing utopia

Post more! Or correct these!

I don't recall there being any much of anything to consume in Oceania.

I guess not, but humans were treated as "human resources" and Psychotic Dictatorship wouldnt really accurately describe it.

The Giver is more Iron Fists Socialist.

Left-Wing Utopias have high levels of political and civil freedom; I don't remember that in The Giver.

I think the role of individuals was democratically chosen, and a council decided laws.

Oceania - Psychotic Dictatorship if you're in the Party, probably Corrupt Dictatorship for the proles

Brave New World - either Compulsory Consumerist State or Benevolent Dictatorship, not sure which

The Giver - Father Knows Best State (seems to fit better than Corrupt Dictatorship)

Could you get anymore off topic?

Er, by giving an NS UN category of a fictional dystopia? I guess I could, yes.

Ok, I revise: could you try to jack this thread anymore?

I refer you to my previous reply. Cheers.

EDIT:By the way, I'm not interested in a fight. I suggest you look elsewhere. I'm here to have a discussion, not argue with you.

Does anyone have a link with the definitions of the UN categories?

I already checked the Gameplay forum, and I don't think I can pass judgement on anything until I have those.

That's exactly what my point was. I Advise we just drop it.

Let's try to keep it friendly, shall we? I'm not here to argue, and I'm not entirely sure what I did to upset you in the first place.
But yes, I'm glad you saw sense. Have fun :)

I would say 1984 is a Father Knows Best State(gov't interference with everything), with a bit of Corrupt Dictatorship(no-one outside the party gets rich, or has any rights for that matter).

Oh, I just thought of what I missed:

Hell - Corrupt Dictatorship.
Let's not forget Dante's hideous bureaucracy.
