I was born in Sudbury, Ont. and have been living in Oshawa, Ont. since '87. Oshawa's a grungy auto town on the eastern fringes of the CityState of Toronto. Being on the border of hicksville areas and having a large pool of GM workers, Oshawa is the land where the mullet never died. It's also right between two nuclear plants (Pickering, and Darlington), so the mutant mullet factor is always present. Combined with the heavy crack usage, downtown Oshawa is always a blast.
Too bad it's stuck in the middle of nowhere.

It's only a half-hour away from T.O. (Okay, an hour and fifteen minutes in rush hour traffic.) Heck, it's even the last eastern stop on the GO train (although not the bus system.)

Oh, and I'm originally from northern BC - Fort St John, to be exact - and we always said that we were 50 miles up Canada's ass (50 miles being the distance from Dawson Creek, along the Alaska Highway). Another nickname was "Foreskin John". Take that, people-who-think-Brampton is bad. :P

The region of Wysteria has several current and former NSers from Victoria: myself and The Bruce, The Grendels, Tyryte, Augustalia, and Epona who recently moved to Winnipeg. There are at least 3 former Wysterian NSers who are Victorians as well.

I arrived in Toronto, lived in the prairies for awhile, Vancouver Island for a summer, now Montreal.
