Apparently a UCLA student got tased as he was leaving the library. To me, it sounds like the policemen went overboard and abused their power.
Seriously, what is our country coming to?

Yeah, I was about to post on it and got a "This thread is closed" when I tried to post. Hot Rodia could have waited a few more seconds.

I've read newspaper articles were people get discouraged by the police for stepping into incidents, except when it is the police themselves...
About 2 months ago some guy started pushing another guy around(A guy that obviously didn't want to fight), they were both about 17, guy A threw a massive swinging arm at the other guy who was trying to back away, did i step in?
Nope because it ain't my bussiness.
Of course this is different because the OP is about the Security already controling the situation but going into excessIf the guy was pushed to the ground by the other guy and kicked again and again. Would you step in or just say it ain't your business and move on?
Nope, there was a brick wall to our right and after i had grabbed him by the scruff of the neck he would have had a nice introduction to it, then he'd be introduced to the ground.

It's a pity we see so little of the guy getting shocked. I'd pop some popcorn and watch the show. :)
